So DD is learning to walk so she will be needing shoes soonish. Anyone have any recommendations for shoes that are good when babies are starting to walk?

I have matching Toms with DD. Not the best for walking but i love that we match:)
I really like pedipeds and was a fan of stride rite but I'm not sure what happens now that they have closed their brick and mortar stores.

I loved stride rite..had a good selection and decent price. I was/am fortunate that DD doesn't outgrow her size quickly. So spending 40 bucks didn't seem too bad for good quality shoes. coffeequeen14 I've always ordered on line bc DD size was never carried in the store (when she started walking she only wore a size 2). Toms are cute but run big and wide. But good quality. Carters runs big and the quality isn't great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

DD is wearing Robeez to daycare everyday. They were hand-me-downs but they work well!

I love See Kai Run. My toddler wears those. R doesn't need shoes yet, but he has a pair of See Kai Run. coffeequeen14, I saw that Target has Surprize by Stride Rite shoes.

With ds1 I started with robeez, and then we have mostly bought stride rite online. I've only put cheap soft shoes on ds2 3 times so far.
I bought the surprize ones from target a couple times, but they don't hold up quite as well as regular stride rites. I wait until a flash sale on their site and buy a few pairs in the next size or 2.
